I combine my skills as a Nutritional Therapist and Eating Psychology Coach to support clients in understanding what foods and activities are most nourishing for them.
With over 10 years of experience working 1:1 with clients and teaching courses, I know how to bring health advice to a manageable and enjoyable level so effective and sustainable results can be achieved long term.
I support people with a wide range of health issues such as:
I first have a call with a potential new client so we can get to know each other and discuss the health issue they want support with. If I am the right person for them we then go ahead and book the initial consultation.
The initial consultation is usually an hour ¼ to an hour and ½. I like to be flexible with the time as we cover health history and go through each system in the body to see what needs to be focused on.
I then go through current eating habits. I make suggestions on how to improve current habits while making sure it’s done at a pace that works best for the client.
If supplements are needed I either give my recommendations during this session or else I email them a few days later after more research.
I usually suggest 3 or 4 weeks before we meet for a follow-up session. It’s important to give the client time to integrate the changes in a relaxed way. If supplements are needed they need time to get them and start taking them. The body needs time to heal. I am available between sessions for questions that may arise.
Follow-up sessions are a time to discuss what’s going well and maybe not so well. If there are resistances or challenges that have arisen we discuss these. I can help break down any barriers bit by bit, have fun with them, experiment and identify the next steps to take.
I offer a 3 session programme that includes the initial consultation and 2 follow-ups spread out over a time that best suits the client.
