While teaching and seeing clients, I place a large emphasis on healthy self-care. By this I mean simply taking time each day to do something you love and enjoy. Only we know what this is. It’s not been told what to do but asking yourself what will truly fill you up with joy and pleasure.
It may be dancing in the kitchen to your favorite song, going for a relaxing mindful walk (no need to be on time trial), sitting quietly with a cuppa or it may be getting lost in your favourite book.
We have heard it over and over again, it’s the simple things in life that matter, but how true it is.
As a Nutritional Therapist, I educate people how to improve their eating patterns and recommend appropriate supplements when needed to support their health. These changes can seem quite stressful for people as it can feel like another thing to add to their “to do list”.
I aim to support realistic changes to suit the person’s lifestyle and to make changes gradually.
I hope to inspire people to do the simple things everyday that makes them feel good and reduce stress.
